Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1872

Opportunity:

Paramedic – Paramedic

Job Details:

• Work 2-24 hour shifts per week if on 24 hour base or 4 scheduled 12 hour shifts if on 12-hour shift truck
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend as needed with scheduled rotation including weekend days on/off
• Holiday coverage as needed and available
• May float to other locations in north and central regions based on staffing levels
• No on-call requirements
• Must live outside a 50 mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin EMT Paramedic Certification, Active WI DL in good standing, PALS, BLS, ACLS, MI Paramedic Certification
• WI CCP (Critical Care Paramedic) Endorsement preferred
• AHA or ARC certifications required
• Minimum one year paramedic experience required, three years preferred
• High School Diploma and successful completion of EMS paramedic program required
• Use Zoll EMS Charts platform with training provided
• Work in various crew configurations including EMT/Medic, Medic/Medic, RN/EMT, RN/Medic depending on daily staffing
• Provide basic and advanced life support treatment, care, and evaluation of patients
• Perform ongoing assessment and required documentation of patient care
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patient charts
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition and treatment
• Initiate and implement interventions based on protocols
• Must wear mask at all times during flu season if declining flu and covid vaccination
