Opportunity:
RN – Palliative
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour variable shifts covering both days and nights
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to any inpatient unit and other Central region locations when needed
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA BLS
• Minimum 1 year inpatient palliative care preferred, 2 years medical-surgical experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Medical-surgical skill set required to care for med-surg patients in palliative care unit
• Experience in palliative care/hospice helpful but not required
• Work in 10-bed unit with 5:1 RN patient ratio
• Care for palliative, comfort/hospice, and medical-surgical patients
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be located outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours with potential call-back pay
• Guaranteed hours not applicable during orientation week or when unit is closed for holidays
