Opportunity:
RN – PCU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 6-week contract
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Subject to low census and on-call requirements with 2-hour minimum call back
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Wisconsin RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must pass EKG test during first week of hire
• Minimum 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) required
• 2 years IMC/PCU/Telemetry experience required
• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips mandatory
• At least one travel assignment must be completed
• 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required
• Typical patient ratio of 1:4
• Care for patients including post-op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, vascular procedures, arrhythmias, CHF, post-procedure cath, pacemaker, defibrillator, ablations, acute chest pain/MI, and medical/surgical overflow
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Clinical interview services provided
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred

This healthcare organization operates a 44-bed intermediate cardiac stepdown unit that provides specialized care for cardiac patients in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment. The facility offers comprehensive cardiac services and maintains modern telemetry monitoring capabilities to support complex cardiac cases and post-procedural care.
