Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically higher acuity units
• Subject to low census and on-call requirements with minimum 2-hour call back
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• 2+ years of experience required – firm requirement
• Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• Ventilator/Trach experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Care for patients with heavy telemetry monitoring, stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Must be able to work independently and complete tasks in timely manner in fast-paced environment

This healthcare facility features a 36-bed Medical Surgery Intermediate Care unit specializing in complex patient care including heavy telemetry monitoring. The facility serves as a Level II trauma center and provides comprehensive care for patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring between intensive care and general medical floors. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes EPIC electronic health record systems.
