Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech – Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM with call on Saturday night
• Alternative option available for Saturday and Sunday only with 12-hour shifts (24 hours per week)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week for 13-week contract
• First couple weeks scheduled 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday during day shift hours for orientation
• Every weekend schedule required – no weekend requests for time off
• Every other holiday rotation as needed
• May be required to float to other facilities including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
• Perform approximately 10-12 exams per day using 4 Philips EPIQ Elite ultrasound units
• Conduct general ultrasound exams including abdomen, small parts, GYN, and OB including fetal anatomy scans
• Strong emphasis in OB preferred with experience in pylorus, appendix, and possible fetal brain from NICU
• Required certifications: ARDMS certified in OB/GYN & ABD, AHA BLS
• Minimum 2+ years experience required with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester OB experience
• Epic charting experience preferred
• High school diploma required, associate degree or certificate preferred
• Must be hardworking, resilient, social, and able to manage change well in fast-paced environment
Facility:
This healthcare facility is an approximately 250-bed hospital and Level II trauma center that provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The ultrasound department operates 4 Philips EPIQ Elite units and maintains separate departments for Echo/Vascular, Breast Health Center, and Interventional Radiology. The facility emphasizes quality patient care in a team-oriented environment and focuses on providing excellent imaging services with strong attention to detail.
