Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician – Nuclear Med Technician
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 8-hour day shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM with occasional flexibility
• Variable days schedule with no weekend or holiday call rotation requirements
• May be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• May be required to float to other Aspirus locations (Merrill, Antigo, Medford, or Stanley) if needed
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ARRT(N) or CNMT
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience required
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Epic charting experience required; Merge PACS training provided by facility
• Knowledge of SPECT/CT and/or PET/CT preferred (training provided)
• Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Perform general nuclear medicine studies including bone scans, renal, HIDA, gastric emptying, thyroid, lymphoscintigraphy, cardiac, and parathyroid studies
• Work with Symbia Evo SPECT, Symbia Intevo SPECT/CT, Capintec Thyroid probe, and Siemens Biograph Vision X PET/CT Scanner
• Scrub colors: any color or print, must be clean and work appropriate
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccinations
