Opportunity:
MRI Tech – MRI Tech
Job Details:
• Work in a dynamic and advanced MRI environment with five scanners (GE and Siemens)
• Perform specialized imaging procedures including cardiac, functional, neuro, body, musculoskeletal, and specialty exams
• Handle 250-300 patients weekly with 1:1 patient ratios
• Work with diverse patient types: outpatient, inpatient, ED patients with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole body patients
• Cardiac experience preferred
• 3 days of orientation provided
• Weekend rotation maximum every 3rd weekend
• On-call responsibilities: Saturday and Sunday nights 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM, approximately 1-2 first shift backup on-call shifts per week
• Participation in weekend on-call rotation approximately once every 8 weeks
• Back-up on-call Saturday and Sunday 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM with 30-minute response time
• Holiday coverage based on unit needs
• No floating required – MRI only
• 3-5 years MRI experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
• GE and Siemens equipment experience required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Equipment experience required: GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, Siemens Magentom Skyra, McKesson PACS
• Professional scrubs in any color required
• Free parking provided
• Support team includes Lead Tech/Coordinator and Imaging Assistants
• Never work alone
Facility:
This healthcare facility is a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with 933 beds and Magnet designation. The facility features a Level III NICU and operates an advanced imaging department with six MRI scanners. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and provides comprehensive medical services in a collaborative and specialized environment.
