Opportunity:
RN – Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work 13-week assignment with 48 guaranteed hours per week
• 12-hour variable day/night shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Overtime paid after 48 hours worked
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back
• Work on Medical and Pediatrics (MAP) Unit treating adult patients only
• Treat conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, GI illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and infectious diseases
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days, 1:6-7 on nights
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS
• Minimum 2 years experience required, Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must work independently, manage changes well, and maintain positive attitude
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
