Opportunity:

Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work varying shifts of 8 hours or 12 hours (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM) or a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts to meet weekly shift requirements
• Department is staffed 24/7
• Weekend rotation required – travelers may be scheduled for weekends, but weekends are typically call only
• On-call required from Friday to Friday (7 days of call) every 2 to 3 months; may not need to take call all 7 days
• Call begins at end of shift until the following morning at 6:00 AM with a 30-minute response time
• Travelers typically do not work holidays
• Cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts per fatigue policy
• 1 week of orientation provided
• No floating required
• Fast-paced, high acuity Cath Lab environment with 24 to 40 cases per day
• Adult patients only, no pediatrics
• Perform Cath Lab procedures including diagnostic, interventional, RHC, LHC, STEMI/NSTEMI, CTO, valvuloplasty, Cardiomems, biopsies, atherectomies, staged PCI, IABP, and Impella
• ECMO experience preferred
• Peripheral diagnostic and interventional cases including fistulograms
• Hybrid experience (AAA grafts, thoracic grafts, clips, TAVRs, Watchman) preferred but not required
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• 3 years of experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT(R), Wisconsin License
• RCIS preferred
• Skills required: Scrubbing and panning; Cath Lab and peripheral cases
• Charting system: EPIC
• Equipment used: Alaris, Pyxis, GE C-arms, Volcano, St. Jude, Alphavac, Angiovac, EKOS, Anari, GE Pruka (Maclab) hemodynamic system, Fuji and ProSolv PACS, Maquet IABP
• Scrubs provided
• Free parking available

This facility is a large 933-bed hospital and Level III Trauma Center with Magnet Designation and Comprehensive Stroke Center certification. The Cath Lab operates across 15 total labs shared between Cath Lab, EP, and Hybrid departments, with approximately 11 labs dedicated strictly to the Cath Lab. The facility offers robust support services including 24/7 cardiology, hospitalist, and respiratory therapy coverage, as well as a critical response team, charge nurses, and dedicated housekeeping and storeroom staff to support clinical teams.
