Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract length
• Contract end day is Sunday, not Saturday
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float requirements include all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Low census eligible in hour increments, typically in 4-hour increments; unit may ask traveler to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring
• Patient population includes stable and weaning vents/trachs, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke patients
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Primary patients and insulin drips managed on unit
• Ventilator and trach experience required
• Stepdown, intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub color: Any color permitted
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change, work independently, and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of facility

This facility is a well-established hospital offering a wide range of inpatient services, including an active Intermediate Care unit specializing in complex medical cases such as trauma, neurological conditions, and critical step-down care. The facility operates as a Trauma Level II center and supports a high-acuity patient population across multiple inpatient units.
