Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract length
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Low census may occur in 4-hour increments; traveler may be asked to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• No on-call requirements
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Patient population includes stable and weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, stroke, and insulin drips
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required – firm requirement
• Stepdown, Intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub color: Any color
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage independently, complete tasks in a timely manner, and manage change well in a fast-paced environment
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of facility

This facility is a full-service hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and specialty care services. The intermediate care unit consists of 36 beds and serves a diverse patient population with complex medical needs, including trauma, neurological, and surgical cases. The facility operates as a Trauma Level II center and supports a fast-paced environment with high clinical standards and a strong emphasis on independent, skilled nursing practice.
