Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• 13-week contract
• 12-hour variable day/night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which can be taken in hour increments as needed
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Patient population includes stable and weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Primary patients and insulin drips management required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required – firm requirement
• Stepdown, Intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and adapt well to a fast-paced environment
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub color: Any color

This facility is a hospital offering a wide range of inpatient services, including a Med Surg Intermediate Care unit that handles high-acuity patients. The unit features heavy telemetry monitoring and cares for complex patient populations including trauma, neurological, and post-surgical cases. The facility maintains a Trauma Level II designation and provides comprehensive specialty support to meet the diverse needs of its patient population.
