Opportunity:
RN – MedSurg
Job Details:
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Low census contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable hours, which can be applied in hour increments as needed – unit typically low censuses in 4-hour increments
• Work on Medical and Pediatrics unit – travelers do not take pediatric patients
• Treat adult patients with conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Typical patient ratios on days 1:4-5
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: any color
• Strong work ethic, resilience, and ability to manage change required
• Must be able to work independently, complete tasks in a timely manner, and collaborate with team and ancillary staff

This facility is a full-service hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services to the surrounding community. The hospital operates as a Trauma Level II center and provides comprehensive care across multiple inpatient units. The facility is equipped with modern technology and utilizes EPIC for charting, supporting a collaborative and patient-centered care environment.
