Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour variable shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Shift rotation occurs every week or every two weeks
• No blocked scheduling requests will be accommodated
• No travel pairs with same schedule requests will be accommodated
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required (weekends are Friday through Sunday)
• Every other holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback responsibilities
• Float to all inpatient units as needed with potential to float to other south region locations including Stevens Point, Plover, and Divine Savior
• Work in an 8-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care Unit with telemetry monitoring
• Manage patients with conditions including stable sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Administer primary patient care including insulin drips
• Maintain a 4:1 patient ratio in a fast-paced unit
• Must be able to manage independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Must be resilient, hardworking, and adaptable to change
• 2+ years of experience in Stepdown, Intermediate Care, or PCU required
• At least one completed travel contract preferred but not required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Any color scrubs are accepted
