Opportunity:
MRI Technologist – MRI
Job Details:
• 3-5 years of experience in MRI required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Weekly census of 250-300 patients
• Patient types include outpatient, inpatient, and ED patients with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, and whole body; cardiac experience preferred
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
• GE and Siemens equipment experience required
• Must be proficient with EPIC charting system
• Must have experience with GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, Siemens Magnetom Skyra, and McKesson PACS
• No floating – MRI only assignment
• 3 days of orientation provided
• Support available on unit including Lead Tech/Coordinator and Imaging Assistants; traveler will never be alone
• Weekend rotation required at a maximum of every 3rd weekend
• On-call responsibility Saturday and Sunday nights from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM with 30-minute response time
• Back-up on-call Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call; weekend on-call occurs approximately once every 8 weeks and includes on-site Saturday hours with a compensatory weekday off scheduled
• Holiday scheduling based on unit needs
• Scrub color: any color as long as they are professional

This large medical center is a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with 933 beds, holding Magnet Designation and a Level III NICU. The facility operates 6 MRI scanners, currently running 5 scanners, and maintains a high volume of diverse imaging cases.
