Opportunity:
RN – ER
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with ASAP start date
• 12-hour variable day/PM shifts; PM shifts start at 11:00 AM or 2:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Possibility for on-call shifts, requested in advance but rarely required
• May be required to float to other locations: Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
• Primary location in Emergency Department
• Trauma Level II, 18-bed unit covering stroke, cardiac, neuro, pediatrics, geriatrics, and respiratory cases
• Fast-paced environment with 3-4 patients per nurse
• Responsibilities include drawing labs, performing nebulizer treatments, and utilizing Pyxis medication dispenser
• Charting experience with EPIC required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; prior travel experience preferred
• If no prior travel experience, 2 years of Trauma Level I or II experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ARC or AHA)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub color: Any color

This facility is a Trauma Level II hospital featuring an 18-bed emergency department equipped to handle a wide range of critical and complex medical cases, including stroke, cardiac, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory conditions. The emergency department operates with in-house lab services, respiratory therapy, and on-site radiology staff, supporting a comprehensive and fast-paced care environment. The facility utilizes EPIC electronic charting and Pyxis medication dispensing systems to ensure efficient and accurate patient care delivery.
