Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Therapy
Job Details:
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Patient population consists mostly of geriatrics and adults, with some pediatric patients in the ED
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CRT or RRT
• Required skills include vent management, CPAP, BiPap, nebulizers, A-line placement, intubation, vent weaning, extubation, and ABGs
• Must be proficient with AVEA vents, Servo U Vents, LPU 1200 vents, parapack vents for MRI, and Hamilton vents for transport
• Charting system: EPIC with Pyxis medication dispensing
• Will float within the hospital to all units as needed
• Orientation includes at least one shift to learn workflow
• Weekend rotation required every other weekend
• On-call requirements vary
• Block scheduling will not be accommodated
• Cannot work more than 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts per fatigue policy
• Scrub color: Any color accepted, no camouflage or denim

This large medical center is a 933-bed facility holding Magnet Designation and serving as both a Level III Trauma Center and Level III NICU. The facility is also recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, offering a full range of advanced medical services across multiple specialty units. The organization maintains high standards of patient care and supports clinical staff with modern equipment and comprehensive support systems throughout the hospital.
