Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Weekend rotation required: 1 weekend per month
• No on-call or holiday requirements
• Time off requests considered for up to 7 days
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Treat patients of all ages
• RN patient ratio of 1:4 for both day and night shifts
• Tech patient ratio of 1:8 for both day and night shifts
• Critical care level skill set required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC/TNS, and CPI or MOAB
• Charting system: EPIC EMR
• Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and GE monitors
• Scrub color: Any solid color, professional – no graphics, logos, or designs
• Free parking available
• Orientation includes at least 1 shift to learn workflow
Facility:
This facility is a Level IV Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, and Accredited Chest Pain Center, offering a comprehensive range of emergency services. The emergency department features 21 beds plus a 6-bed annex and maintains robust around-the-clock support including a charge nurse with reduced patient assignments, an in-house hospitalist, an in-house ED physician, a HUC, and phlebotomy assistance. The facility also operates an active forensic nurse examiner program with an RN available on-call 24/7 for those cases.
