Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour variable shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract length
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Low census eligible in hour increments as needed, typically in 4-hour increments
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring
• Care for patients with conditions including stable/weaning vents and trachs, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Manage primary patients and insulin drips
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required – firm requirement
• Stepdown, Intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator and trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub color: any color
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage independently, complete tasks timely, and adapt well to change in a fast-paced environment
