Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Therapy
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with an ASAP start date
• 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week (hours not guaranteed during orientation week)
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float within all patient care areas of the hospital including the emergency department and general care areas
• May be required to float to other central locations with advance notice
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments using Assess and Treat Protocols for all age groups
• Pediatric experience required
• Minimum 3+ years of experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Charting and equipment: V60 BiPAP, Hamilton G5 and C1, iStat, documentation in Epic
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; Advanced NRP preferred but not required
• NBRC RRT required (NBRC CRT accepted but RRT must be obtained within one year)
• Active Wisconsin license required
• AHA or ARC certifications required
• Required education: Associate's Degree or Certificate
• Dress code: Closed-toe shoes, scrubs any color, clean appearance, no smoking or scents allowed, piercings per dress code policy
• Contractors must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
