Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract length
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float requirements include all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Low census eligible in hour increments as needed, typically in 4-hour increments
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required – firm requirement
• Stepdown, Intermediate, or PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/Trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry
• Patient care includes stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Primary patients and insulin drips with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage independently, and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub color: Any color

This facility is a well-established hospital offering a wide range of inpatient services, including an active Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with 36 beds. The facility supports a high-acuity patient population and is recognized as a Trauma Level II center, providing comprehensive care across multiple specialties including telemetry, neurology, orthopedic trauma, and critical care. The organization is committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and supports a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment.
