Opportunity:
Scrub Tech – OR
Job Details:
• Variable day shifts with weekend call only
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• 6-8 nights of weeknight call and 1-2 weekends during the 13-week contract with a 30-minute response time requiring traveler to be ready and in the OR within 30 minutes
• May be required to float to additional locations if needed
• Holiday rotation required as needed
• Work in a 21 OR facility averaging 40-60 cases per day across all specialties
• Efficiently set up operative suites, go through case carts to ensure all supplies are available, scrub surgical cases in a variety of specialties, and turn over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day
• Ortho, Neuro, and Spine experience required; must be comfortable with complex spine, neuro, and cranial cases and strong in total joint procedures
• Trauma Level II experience required
• General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, and GI experience a bonus but not required
• Must be willing to perform downtime tasks and assist with training new hires
• Must have own vehicle; cannot rely on rideshare services due to on-call responsibilities
• Prior travel experience required
• Minimum 4+ years of operating room experience required
• Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program required
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license required (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted); AHA or ARC certifications required
• Scrub colors: any color

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center operating 21 operating rooms and supporting a high-volume surgical environment with an average of 40-60 cases per day across all specialties. The facility offers a comprehensive range of surgical services including orthopedic, neuroscience, spine, general surgery, gynecology, urology, plastics, ENT, and GI procedures.
