Opportunity:
RN – Electrophysiology
Job Details:
• Minimum 2 years of electrophysiology (EP) experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Work with adult patients, including those as young as 16 years old
• Perform and assist with RFA/PFA/Cryo Ablations (afib, VT, PVC, his bundles), pacemakers, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, generator changes, MICRA/Aveir leadless pacemakers, loop recorders, temp pacers, Watchman procedures
• Administer moderate sedation (anesthesia will sedate for Watchman and afib ablations)
• Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation and drip management including mixing drugs and managing critical and cardiac drips
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Work with equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, Phillips cardiovascular/ISCV PACS, and Phillips & GE unit-specific equipment
• May float to bedside for procedures such as temp pacers but will not be assigned patients outside of the EP unit
• 5 shifts of unit orientation provided following new employee orientation (NEO)
• Hospital scrubs provided

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Procedural lab environment with manager/supervisor support available during the day

This facility is a 637-licensed-bed teaching hospital holding a Level 1 Trauma Designation. It features specialized centers including a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center, reflecting its commitment to comprehensive and advanced patient care. The electrophysiology unit operates 3 suites averaging approximately 125 cases per month, supported by a robust team including central transport, a flow coordinator, phlebotomy, IV/VAT team, respiratory therapy available 24/7, and both hospitalist and intensivist coverage around the clock.
