Opportunity:
RN – Pediatric OR
Job Details:
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call responsibilities include 1 weeknight per week (Monday through Thursday), 1 weekend every 6-8 weekends, and holiday on-call as operationally needed
• Kidney transplant experience required
• Pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, and pediatric trauma experience required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in the specialty required
• Level I and Level II Trauma experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), PALS, WI RN or compact RN license
• Must be proficient in a wide range of pediatric surgical procedures including but not limited to craniotomy, spinal fusion, organ donation, nephrectomy, and transplant regulatory charting
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred
• Must be comfortable caring for patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Pass/fail telemetry exam required prior to start with a passing score of 80% or higher; two attempts allowed
• Pre-approved time off: two instances allowed

This Magnet-designated pediatric facility provides specialized care in a healing environment designed specifically for pediatric patients and their families. It is a comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical center with nationally recognized specialists across a wide range of fields. The facility is home to a Level One Pediatric Trauma Center and a Level IV NICU, serving patients throughout the region and beyond. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services and pharmacy.
