Opportunity:
RN – OR
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 8-hour variable day shifts with a mix of 0700-1530, 0900-1730, and 1100-1930
• On-call responsibilities include 6-8 weeknights and 1-2 weekends during the 13-week contract
• 30-minute response time required for on-call – must be ready and in the OR within 30 minutes
• Call-back minimum is 2 hours
• Weekend call and holiday rotation required
• May float to additional facilities as needed
• 5+ years of OR experience required with at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Experience in a larger facility with comparable ORs of 20+ required
• Circulating required; scrubbing preferred
• Da Vinci Robotic experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Must have own vehicle – cannot rely on rideshare services due to on-call responsibilities
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Work in a 21-OR facility handling 40-60 cases per day with an average of 45 cases
• Specialties include General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, and GI
• Must be flexible, hard-working, resilient, and able to manage change effectively
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and Wisconsin RN License
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: any color

This hospital is a large, full-service healthcare facility featuring 21 operating rooms and supporting a wide range of surgical specialties including General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, and GI. The facility operates as a Trauma Level II center and maintains a high-volume surgical environment averaging 45 cases per day.
