Job Details:
• Day shifts with 8-hour shifts starting between 5:45 AM and 9:00 AM and ending between 1:45 PM and 5:00 PM
• Call responsibilities included with weekday call running from 2:30 PM to 6:30 AM and weekend call running from 2:30 PM Friday through 6:30 AM Monday
• Call is rotated among trained RNs approximately 5 days per month with 7 nurses, subject to variation due to PTO
• Must be available to cover shifts and call during the holiday season December 24, 2026 through January 4, 2027
• Participation in holiday rotation for call is required
• Must be ready to make incision within 30 minutes or less for STAT cases
• Cover Pre-surgery/PATT, OR, and PACU as floating responsibilities
• Facility operates 4 OR suites with 3 running concurrently and approximately 9 cases per day
• Common cases include General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, and Cardiology (pacemakers, lead revisions, etc.)
• Must have experience with General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, Cardiology, Pre-surgery, and PACU
• Scrubbing is not required for RNs
• Charting system: Paragon EMR
• One week of unit/department specific orientation provided
• Schedule is built by manager
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Must clock in and out at the facility
• Required certification: BLS (AHA)

Facility:
This acute care medical facility operates a comprehensive surgical services department with four OR suites running up to three cases concurrently and an average of nine cases per day. The facility provides a wide range of surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, podiatry, and cardiology procedures. The organization supports a collaborative nursing environment where RNs are cross-trained to cover Pre-surgery/PATT, the OR, and PACU, ensuring well-rounded and dynamic clinical experience.
