Opportunity:
MRI Technologist – MRI
Job Details:
• Day/Evening shift schedule with 8-hour and 12-hour shift options
• Primary schedule Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• Friday and Monday: 8-hour day shifts with start times between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM
• Saturday and Sunday: 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Main work location is University Hospital
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
• GE experience within the last 18 to 24 months required
• Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently with all patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform technical imaging examinations and complex specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems
• Responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in quality assurance, and resolve issues related to image processing and image archiving systems
• Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and triage routine and emergent procedures
• Communicate independently and confidently with inpatient and emergency department teams
• PE pulmonary embolism exam MRA required if working evenings and/or weekends; otherwise preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification or ARMRIT MRI certification, AHA BLS
• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
