Opportunity:
Occupational Therapist – Occupational Therapy
Job Details:
• Day shift, 8-hour days with variable scheduling
• Self-scheduling is not allowed
• Required to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis with core staff
• Compensatory days scheduled for weekend work
• Approximately 9 evaluations per day and 16 treatments per day per therapist
• Cover adult and pediatric acute inpatient units, adult and pediatric ICUs, and adult and pediatric acute inpatient rehab
• Treat patients across a wide range of diagnoses including trauma, neuro, ortho, general med/surg, oncology, stroke, and oncology
• Perform ADL evaluations and documentation justifying next level of care
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Flexibility and strong teamwork skills required
• Charting system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Any solid color, clean and professional
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Wisconsin state license required prior to start
Facility:
This acute care facility operates as a Level 2 trauma center serving both adult and pediatric populations across a wide range of specialties. The facility includes a primary stroke center, same-day discharge joint program, inpatient rehabilitation programs for both adults and pediatrics, and a stroke specialty program. The organization provides comprehensive care supported by a collaborative team including rehab aides and COTAs.
