Opportunity:
RN – ER
Job Details:
• Weekend rotation required: 1 weekend per month
• No on-call or holiday requirements
• Up to 7 days of time off may be approved
• At least 1 orientation shift provided to learn unit flow
• RN patient ratio of 1:4 for both day and night shifts
• Tech patient ratio of 1:8 for both day and night shifts
• Critical care level skill set required
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Treat patients of all ages
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC/TNS, and CPI or MOAB
• Charting system: EPIC EMR
• IV Pumps: Alaris
• Medication Dispensing: Pyxis
• GE Monitors used on unit
• Scrub color: Any solid color, professional – no graphics, logos, or designs

Facility:
This facility is a Level IV Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, and Accredited Chest Pain Center offering a comprehensive range of emergency services. The emergency department features 21 beds plus a 6-bed annex and maintains robust around-the-clock support including an ED physician, hospitalist, charge nurse with reduced patient assignments, HUC, and phlebotomy assistance. The facility also operates an active forensic nurse examiner program with an RN on-call 24/7, along with nursing station telemetry monitoring.
