Opportunity:
RN – OR
Job Details:
• Day shift position working 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No scheduled weekends required
• Weekend call required approximately 1 in every 4 weekends
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of OR experience including General Surgery, Cataracts, Robotics, Orthopedics, and GYN
• Travel experience required
• Locals within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
• RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – AHA only
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Operating room has 8 rooms
• Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System preferred
• Must be proficient in a wide range of surgical procedures including robotic, laparoscopic, orthopedic, gynecologic, urologic, and general surgery cases
• Barcode scanning compliance must be maintained at 95% or higher to be eligible for extension
• Bedside shift reporting, utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Pass/Fail telemetry testing required prior to start with a passing score of 80% or higher
