Opportunity:
MRI Technologist – MRI
Job Details:
• Work in a dynamic MRI environment with six scanners, currently operating five scanners
• 3-5 years of MRI experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Weekly patient census of 250-300 patients
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Treat a diverse patient population including outpatient, inpatient, and ED patients with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, and whole body cases; cardiac experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
• Must have experience with GE and Siemens equipment
• Required charting systems and equipment: EPIC, GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, Siemens Magnetom Skyra, and McKesson PACS
• Assignment is MRI only with no floating to other departments
• 3 days of orientation provided
• Weekend rotation required with a maximum of every 3rd weekend
• On-call responsibilities Saturday and Sunday nights from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Backup on-call Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• 30-minute response time required for on-call
• Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call; weekend on-call occurs approximately once every 8 weeks and includes on-site Saturday hours with a compensatory weekday off
• Holiday scheduling based on unit needs
• Professional scrubs of any color required

Facility:
This facility is a large 933-bed hospital and Level II Trauma Center with a Level III NICU and Magnet Designation, recognized as a Primary Stroke Center. The MRI department features six scanners, including a blend of GE and Siemens technology, supporting an extensive range of advanced imaging procedures such as cardiac, functional, neuro, body, musculoskeletal, and specialty exams. Travelers will work alongside an experienced team of Technologists and Imaging Assistants in a fast-paced, highly specialized environment where they will never be working alone.
