Opportunity:
MRI Technologist – MRI
Job Details:
• Day, evening, and night 8-hour shifts available Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM
• May be scheduled between 2:00 PM and 12:00 AM based on operational need
• Potential weekend shifts and holidays as needed
• No call required
• Primary work locations include University Hospital, American Family Children's Hospital, and Science Drive Medical Center
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
• GE experience within the last 18 to 24 months required at all locations
• PE pulmonary embolism exam MRA required if working PM shifts and/or weekends; otherwise preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Perform technical imaging examinations and complex, specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems
• Work independently with all patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and image archiving systems
• Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and triage routine and emergent procedures
• Communicate independently and confidently with inpatient and emergency department teams
• Participate in instruction of fellows, residents, physicians, and visiting healthcare professionals; may also participate in clinical research
• Required certifications: ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MR) or ARMRIT MRI certification, AHA BLS
• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology required
• Locals within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
