Opportunity:
RN – ICU
Job Details:
• Day shifts, 12 hours, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend rotation required with every other holiday
• Standby call required as needed
• Float to other units as needed
• Patient ratios: 5 patients during days, 6 patients during nights
• Care for all acuity types including occasional ICU/PCU patients on a blended unit
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diagnoses including cardiac/respiratory, orthopedic, and general surgery
• 2 years of RN experience in med/surg and PCU required within the last 3 years
• Travel experience required; if first-time traveler, must have more than 5 years of RN experience
• Charge experience preferred
• Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA only), Wisconsin RN license required
• Charting system experience required; Cerner utilized
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to assignment start with a passing score of 80% or higher
• Barcode scanning compliance must be maintained at 95% or higher to be eligible for extension
• Bedside Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding required
• Occasional ventilator management required
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and unit secretary

The facility operates a blended ICU/PCU unit providing care for a range of acuity levels, with comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams.
