Opportunity:
RN – ICU
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with 12-hour day/night variable shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• No on-call or callback requirements; contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours which may be taken in hour increments
• Work in an 8-bed Neuro unit caring for stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients
• Perform Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation
• Perform bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery and care for Neuro interventional patients
• Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring required
• Experience as Neuro Interventionalist a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with 1 travel assignment preferred; Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong Neuro assessment skills required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS; EKG exam required during compliance
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Scrubs: any color
