Opportunity:
Lab Specialist – Laboratory
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with flexible 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts covering days, mids, and nights – flexibility is required
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly with overtime after 80 hours worked in the second week
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Rhinelander, Tomahawk, and Eagle River locations – floating can and will be prescheduled if needed
• Occasional weekend shifts required with holidays worked when they fall on a working week, with every other holiday rotation
• May be placed on call during low census hours
• Contract is eligible for 36 hours low census
• Work as a generalist in all areas of the lab including blood bank and phlebotomy
• Minimum 1 year of core lab experience required
• Must be able to work in blood bank and perform phlebotomy
• Required certifications: MLT, MT, or CLS; ASCP preferred but not required
• Required education: Associate or Bachelor's degree
• Charting and equipment experience required: Epic, Meditech, and Beaker
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change well, and work independently
• Scrub colors: Any, as long as clean and presentable
• Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius
