Opportunity:

RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in cardiac catheterization laboratory with 2 Cath Lab beds and 1 Hybrid Cath/EP bed
• Handle 1-16 cases per day depending on day of the week
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• Treat patients with STEMI/NSTEMI, angioplasty/angiography, ASD, PFO, right/left heart catheterization, and thrombectomy procedures
• Handle EP cases including pacemakers, generator changes, loop recorders, ICD lead revisions, and cardioversions one day per week
• Required certifications: CVT, BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certifications: RCIS, RTR (must have Cath lab experience)
• Required skills: Monitor, pan, scrub, sheath pull
• Preferred skills: IABP assistance, EP procedures, Rotor blade, PFO procedures, knowledge of complex cases
• May float to EP unit if experienced
• Work with EPIC charting system (preferred) and Mac Lab equipment (preferred)
• Use Alaris pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• 2-day orientation program with educator and preceptor training
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking available

The facility features advanced cardiac catheterization capabilities with specialized equipment and dedicated staff support including managers, supervisors, educators, and bedside telemetry monitoring. The organization maintains high standards for cardiac care and offers comprehensive support services for complex cardiovascular procedures.
