Opportunity:
RN – Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment starting 12/22
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• 22-bed medical-surgical unit with 5:1 patient ratio (4:1 primary nursing)
• Care for post-surgical, urology, GI, UTI, sepsis, high fall risk, COPD, and CHF patients
• Required certifications: Illinois state RN license, BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross), ACLS, PALS
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required skills: Remote telemetry, chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight catheterization/Foleys, ostomy care, heparin drips, blood/blood product administration, tracheostomy care, PCA pumps
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• No local candidates within 40-mile radius accepted
• No float requirements or on-call/call back requirements
• GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week
