Opportunity:
RN – Hematology Oncology
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Float to other units as needed
• Care for patients in a 32-bed unit serving primarily solid oncology patients, along with hematology and bone marrow transplant patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment
• Demonstrate competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population
• Associate's degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from participating NLC state required
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) or AHA approved equivalent required
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice from accredited School of Nursing required
• Clinical competence and experience in care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment
