Opportunity:
RN – Progressive Care
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts with floating as needed
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Provide nursing care for trauma patients in a 32-bed progressive care unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult patient population
• Manage pain control, wound care, and dressing changes for trauma patients
• Work with family dynamics associated with trauma and healing process
• Prepare patients for discharge to rehabilitation facilities or home
• Must have 2 years of nursing experience
• Clinical competence in care and management of target patient populations required
• Must be experienced with CADD pumps (epidural and nerve block pumps)
• Associate's degree in nursing required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from NLC participating state required
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required
