Opportunity:
RN – Cardiac
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• No weekends or holidays required
• Contract length of 13 weeks
• Can be placed on low census/call with 2-hour callback minimum
• Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Scrub colors: any color allowed
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, IBHRE certification, Certified Clinical Device Specialist (CCDS) credential
• Wisconsin RN license required
• Minimum 2+ years experience required with cardiac clinic experience
• Experience with Paceart/pacemate required
• Epic experience required
• Associate Degree in related health sciences or equivalent required
• Work as cardiac device specialist ensuring patient heart devices function properly
• Lead routine remote scans and potentially perform stress tests
• Process 30 scans per day that are backlogged for provider signature
• Patient ratios: 1:30 for remotes, 1:1 for stress tests
• Must have ECG interpretive skills and cardiac clinical assessment abilities
• Knowledge of cardiovascular pharmacological agents required
• Understanding of pacemaker and ICD technology required
• Working knowledge of 4 major programmers (Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific, Biotronik)
• Ability to perform remote monitoring
• Programming checks preferred but not required
• Must comply with facility vaccination policies including mask requirements during flu season if unvaccinated
