Opportunity:
RN – Cardiac
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts
• 13-week contract with guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Overtime after 48 hours worked
• No weekends or holidays required
• May be placed on low census/call status during eligible 36 hours of unbillable time
• Call back minimum of 2 hours when called back from on-call status
• Required to live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, IBHRE certification, CCDS (Certified Clinical Device Specialist)
• Wisconsin RN license required
• Minimum 2+ years cardiac clinic experience required
• Experience with Paceart/pacemate systems required
• Epic experience required
• Associate Degree in related health sciences or equivalent required
• Work as cardiac device specialist ensuring proper function of patient heart devices
• Process up to 30 remote scans daily that are backlogged for provider signature
• Conduct device scans and stress tests
• Patient ratio: 1:30 for remote monitoring, 1:1 for stress tests
• Knowledge required of ECG interpretation, cardiac assessment, and cardiovascular medications
• Must understand technological aspects of pacemakers and ICDs
• Working knowledge of major programmers (Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific, Biotronik)
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
