Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour variable day and night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract with every other weekend schedule
• Holiday work as needed
• Float to all patient care areas including Emergency Department, OB (attended live births), and general care areas
• Subject to low census and on-call placement with 2-hour call back minimum
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Assist with C-sections using NRP protocols
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments with Assess and Treat Protocols for all age groups
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, NBRC RRT
• Active Wisconsin license required
• Associate degree required
• Minimum 2 years experience required, travel experience preferred
• Dress code: closed-toe shoes, scrubs (any color), clean appearance, no smoking or scent allowed
• Contract includes 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• Guaranteed hours not applicable during orientation week
