Opportunity:
RN – L&D
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract length
• Work every 3rd weekend and every other holiday rotation
• No float requirements
• Can be low censused and placed on call with 2-hour minimum call back requirement
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, Advanced NRP, Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 2 years OB experience with L&D experience required
• Must be labor and delivery competent
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must comply with facility vaccination policy during flu season – unvaccinated staff required to wear masks at all times
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
• GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week
Facility:
This healthcare facility features an 11-bed Labor & Delivery unit and 8-bed Post Partum unit, handling approximately 1,350 deliveries annually with an average monthly delivery rate of 112. The facility utilizes EPIC electronic medical records system and maintains high standards for maternal and newborn care. The obstetrics department operates with highly variable daily census and provides comprehensive birthing services to the community.
