Opportunity:
RN – Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week contract
• Work every other to every third weekend and every other holiday as applicable
• Can be placed on low census call with 2-hour minimum call back
• Must be willing to float to multiple facilities including Merrill, Wausau, Medford, and Stanley
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, BLS, ACLS
• Highly preferred: ability to read and interpret telemetry, travel experience
• Minimum 2+ years Med Surg experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Excellent assessment skills required
• 16-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 4-5 on days, 5-6 on evenings, and 6-7 on nights
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination

The facility operates a 16-bed medical-surgical unit and maintains Epic electronic health record systems for efficient patient documentation.
