Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist
Job Details:
• Weekend only day shift schedule working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of facility
• Minimum 2+ years experience required with previous travel experience preferred
• NICU experience required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NBRC RRT, Advanced NRP
• Active Wisconsin license required
• Associates Degree minimum, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Float to all patient care areas including ED and general care units
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue situations
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Conduct patient assessments with Assess and Treat Protocols
• Care for patients of all age groups
• Subject to low census and on-call placement with 2-hour minimum call back
• Holiday rotation required
• Dress code: closed-toe shoes, scrubs (any color), clean appearance, no smoking or scent, piercings per policy
• Mask required at all times during flu season if flu and COVID vaccinations are declined
