Opportunity:
RN – Interventional Radiology
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour variable day shifts with start times ranging from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM
• Guaranteed 72 hours bi-weekly (5 shifts one week, 4 shifts the next week)
• 13-week contract assignment
• On-call requirements approximately 1 night per week and every 4-6 weekends with 30-minute response time
• Weekend requirements are call only every 4-6 weekends as needed
• Potential for holiday call coverage
• No floating required – all work performed in Interventional Radiology department
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA BLS, and AHA ACLS
• Minimum 2+ years RN experience in IR, Cath Lab, Critical Care, ER, or Recovery required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• IV skills and sedation experience required
• Must be familiar with neurointervention including stroke intervention and other neuro procedures
• Work with wide variety of inpatients and outpatients ranging from clinic patients to critical care patients
• Handle both elective and emergent procedures
• Work as part of procedural team consisting of provider, RN, and 1-2 technologists
• Scrubs provided
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must start medical compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer

This comprehensive healthcare system features a state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology department equipped with 2 fluoroscopy suites, 2 procedure suites, 1 biplane lab, 1 hybrid lab, and CT capabilities. The department maintains a robust team of 12 RNs, 12 IR technologists, 4 perioperative techs, 4 IR physicians, 2 advanced practice providers, and 1 neuro-interventional locum. The facility provides comprehensive interventional radiology services including specialized neurointervention procedures and stroke intervention capabilities, serving both inpatient and outpatient populations.
