Opportunity:
IR Tech – IR Tech
Job Details:
• Work in a fast-paced, high-acuity Cath Lab performing 24-40 cases daily
• Department operates 24/7 with 8 and 12-hour shift options available
• Weekend rotation includes primarily call responsibilities
• Call shifts: 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM on call days, with call extending until 6:00 AM the following morning
• 7-day call rotation (Friday to Friday) every 2-3 months with 30-minute response time
• 1:1 patient ratio for all cases
• Adult patients only, no pediatrics
• Handle Cath Lab procedures including diagnostic, interventional, RHC, LHC, STEMI/NSTEMI, CTO, valvuloplasty, Cardiomems, biopsies, atherectomies, staged PCI, IABP, Impella, and ECMO
• Perform peripheral diagnostic and interventional cases and fistulograms
• Hybrid experience preferred for AAA grafts, thoracic grafts, clips, TAVRs, and Watchman procedures
• 3 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin license; RCIS preferred
• Skills required: Cath Lab and peripheral cases, scrubbing, panning
• One week of orientation provided
• Fatigue policy limits work to maximum 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts
• Scrubs provided; free parking available
• Work with EPIC charting system, GE C-arms, Volcano, St. Jude equipment, and GE Pruka hemodynamic monitoring

This healthcare organization is a Level III Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center with Magnet Designation, featuring 933 beds and a Level III NICU. The facility operates a sophisticated cardiovascular department with 15 total labs shared between Cath Lab, EP, and Hybrid services, with approximately 11 labs dedicated to Cath Lab procedures. The organization maintains 24/7 support services including housekeeping, transport, cardiology coverage, and critical response teams to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency.
