Opportunity:
RN – ER
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week over 9-week contract
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• May be required to float to other locations: Merrill, Antigo, Medford and Stanley
• On-call requirements: 12 hours in a 6-week period with 30-minute response time
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience required with at least one year of travel experience
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC and PALS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Work in fast-paced environment managing 3-4 patients per nurse
• 18-bed trauma level II unit that is stroke certified
• Care for cardiac, neuro, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory patients
• Responsibilities include drawing labs, administering nebulizer treatments
• Use EPIC computer charting and Pyxis medication dispenser
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be hard-working, resilient, manage change well, and work independently

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive emergency department with trauma level II designation and stroke certification. The facility features an 18-bed emergency unit equipped with modern technology including EPIC charting systems and Pyxis medication dispensers. The organization provides in-house laboratory services, respiratory therapy, and on-site X-ray staff in the emergency department, ensuring comprehensive patient care capabilities.
