Opportunity:
IR Tech – IR Tech
Job Details:
• Independently circulate and scrub IR basic to complex procedures
• Neuro IR experience preferred but not required
• Work with Siemens and GE imaging equipment
• Operate GE ultrasound equipment
• Handle all adult patients, no pediatrics
• Department staffed 24/7 with approximately 40-50 patients per day
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, Wisconsin License
• Skills include scrubbing and panning simultaneously
• Experience with general IR cases including kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, central lines/PICCs/ports, fistulograms, IVC filters, nephrostomy tubes, peripheral leg cases, coil embolization
• Work in 5-room department with support staff including coordinators, lead techs, and respiratory therapy
• Use EPIC EMR system and Change Healthcare PACS
• Equipment includes MedRad injector, IVUS, laser, Bovie, and Angiojet
• 1-2 week orientation period with preceptor and check-off process
• On-call responsibilities: weekday call 1 shift per week, weekend call once every 5th weekend
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Standard shift times: General IR 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Neuro 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Manager flexible with shift arrangements
• Scrubs provided, free parking in structure with badge access

This comprehensive medical center is a Level III Trauma Center and Level III NICU with Magnet designation and Comprehensive Stroke Center status. The facility features 933 beds and maintains a 24/7 interventional radiology department. The organization provides advanced imaging services and complex procedural capabilities with comprehensive support services including respiratory therapy and hospitalist coverage available around the clock.
