Opportunity:
RN – Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work in cardiac catheterization lab with 4 labs seeing approximately 15-23 cases per day
• Adult patients only seeking inpatient/outpatient interventional cardiac services
• 8-week contract with potential for short extension
• Up to 1 week of unit orientation provided
• Must have 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience
• Associate's degree required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA), IL state license (IEMA), and ARRT or RTR
• Previous EPIC experience required
• RCIS certification (CCI) and previous EPIC Cupid experience highly preferred
• Skills required: aseptic technique knowledge, sheath pulling, TR band placement/removal, line securement, EKG/cardiac rhythm interpretation, IABP/Impella
• Work with EPIC charting, Alaris IV, Pyxis med dispense, Zoll defibrillator, Phillips Fluoro machine, Merge Hemodynamics, Data scope IABP
• Procedural scrubs provided
